Jerry was a race car driver, he drove so god damned fast
He never did win no checkered flags but he never did come in last
Jerry was a race car driver, he'd say "El solo number one"
With a bocephus sticker on his 442, he'd light 'em up just for fun
Captain Pierce was a fireman, Richmond engine number three
I'll be a wealthy man when I get a dime for all the things that man taught to me
Captain Pierce was a strong man, strong as any man alive
It stuck in his craw that they made him retire at the age of 65
Jerry was a race car driver, 22 years old
One too many cold bars one night and wrapped himself around a telephone pole.

ARNOCORPS!!!! They are pioneers of Action/Adventure Hardcore Rock and Roll (or Arnocore is easier to say). They sing about Austrian folklore that has been bastardized by such hollywood productions like Terminator, Total Recall, Predator and more. Come one, get these ballzy heroes to FFF Fest!!!
In no particular order:
Centromatic: Incredible musicianship and songwriting. Very underrated.
Yo La Tengo: Inventive and unpredictably great live.
Sonic Youth: Legendary...still pushing the boundaries.
Ghostland Observatory: Fun as hell.
Roky Moon and BOLT!: Queen and David Bowie wrapped up on a not so little band from Houston.
Fang Island: Young guys with a shitload of energy and great guitar chops.
Nortec Collective: I love seeing how the unknowing crowd starts out small then people flock to the Tuba
Fat Tony: Stage presence and flow like no other. You will find yourself chanting "Buy my Shit" for days
The Bronx: We can't be friends if you don't bring this incredible band back.
Delta Spirit: Song writing, great live or full album listening.
Rancid: Bass player kicks so much ass
Octopus Project: Cannot get enough of their enthusiasm and joyful music.
Dirty Beaches: Moody, Leonard Cohen-esque
Ozomatli: Bring it
David Wax Museum: Great new band, a little like Beirut
Shilpa Ray & Her Happy Hookers: Name alone should convince. This band is incredibly talented.
Grinderman: Shouldn't need to convince you here.
David Bazan: Dark songs and in my opinion a great voice.

Man, The Streets would be awesome. Especially considering this is the last record. I understand he hates to tour, so it would be a major coup for FFF to get him to come hang in Austin for a few. Also, completely support Bedouin Soundclash, Fishbone & X!
