Mosquito's and other stuff

As a person who has never been to Texas. what to expect Mosquito and other insect wise in early Nov in Texas. I want to make sure I am prepared. I know we are near the lake so just figured I'd ask away.

    I don't remember any mosquitos/bugs being a problem last year. Only dust... Lots of dust. You should bring a bandana to cover your mouth just in case. The weather was great last year, comfortable with or without a sweater.

    Cool deal. I'm probably bringing mostly cargo shorts and a pair of pants and some shirts. I guess I'll bring a small pull over or zip up jacket. Trying to pack light for the carry on.
