Meal tickets

Hello,

I have 8 PIP meal tickets in my possession at this time that no vendor would take during the fun fun fun fest. The tickets clearly state "Redeem this ticket at any food vendor for grub. Only valid for day specified."

That was a false statement, because I tried to redeem them everywhere, both days, at nearly every vendor, and nobody would take them.

I am interested in a reimbursement for this false advertising. What is the plan to make amends? I did pay extra for this as a PIP ticket holder and received no benefit. That is way not cool, and if this festival wants to go forward with a clean conscience into the future, you really need to take responsibility for making this issue right.

    I got PIP passes last year and felt ripped off about that! My girlfriend and I had to eat Chipotle burritos for three days straight. Sunday night, she got sick form the those burritos just in time to miss the enitre MGMT show. They should have some type of liability for this. Yes, it is false advertisement.

    Amen brotha. The story we got was that Friday night the vendors were accepting these. Then they weren't compensated by the fest at the end of the night so none of them honored them the rest of the weekend.

    2009 there was at least different food to eat at each meal in the PiP area and there wasn't only heinicrap light. We had High Life and Tecate and Fosters back there all weekend. There were also other food vendors that came in and gave out all sorts of swag.

    I will need to know exactly what I am buying into this year in order to spend the extra money on PiP.

    I was also disapointed with this last year. I don't like burritos as I don't eat any veggies. Even the chicken burritos had some veggies in them so I couldn't eat them and was stuck having to pay for food. Vendors would not accept the meal tickets. I expect that FFF will clearly state what you get with the PIP passes this year or I'm not springing for them.

    just save the money it cost to print all those glossy, colored, worthless meal tickets, and give pips a tshirt or a mix cd, something we can enjoy :)
