Hotel/Travel Suggestions?

Unless I'm completely mistaken (which is entirely possible), wasn't there supposed to be some sort of "official" word about hotel suggestions/deals for the out-of-towners? Is that still forthcoming or are we all fighting for freedom like Russell Crowe in Gladiator?
