Phillip's F3F '13 Wishlist

Thu, Feb 28, 2013 at 10:57 AM

Since the blogs still aren't working, I figured that I may as well get out some of this excess energy via the forums. Here, then, is my preliminary wishlist for F3F this year. This is different (yet strikingly similar) to the list I'm making of anticipated bands but it's a little too early to share that. Here, then, are the ones I would love to see at the Shores:

The Breeders (performing Last Splash)
Girls vs Boys (reunion)
My Bloody Valentine
How to Destroy Angels
The Night Marchers
Steve Earle
Geto Boys
Deltron 3030
Pillowfight (Dan the Automator and Emily Wells)
Mariachi El Bronx and The Bronx (not either/or: both, goddamit!)
Anthrax (performing Among the Living)
ROCKET FROM THE CRYPT (this year's Refused: get them and I'm happy, no matter what)
Judge (reunion)
D.O.A. (farewell tour)
Bad Religion
Swingin' Utters
Classics of Love
Ghost B.C.
Orange Goblin
Living Colour (performing Vivid)

That's just a small samplin' but it's a samplin' none the less!

I still have yet to see Bad Religion live that would make my day.

Breeders would be awesome since so far they aren't bringing this tour anywhere near me. You've got some great stuff on there.

NIN would now be a rad possibility!

I would love me some NIN, believe me. They headlined Sasquatch during their farewell tour, so I wonder how possible it would be to get them at the Shores?

I wasn't impressed by the lineup, either. I detest The Postal Service and am pretty lukewarm on Mumford. The only bands that I was really jazzed about were Primus and Elvis Costello, who I'm hoping will put in an appearance at F3F this year.
