Pip viewing decks

I'm strongly considering the pip but would like to know more about the viewing decks. How far away are they from the stage?

    Last year they weren't close, but they were elevated. I only stayed up there for the free snacks and places to sit and went closer to the stage when a band I wanted to see started playing.

    The viewing decks are pretty far from stages...don't expect a birds-eye view of bands. That being said...I enjoyed being able to sit down in a comfortable spot, eat/drink and listen to a few songs outta the dirt. Last year, the large stage PIP viewing deck was adjacent to the PIP beer booth which was nice.

    What I'd really enjoy this year is seating with backs on them. Those ottomans kind of sucked. :/

    nah the ottomans were awesome, i don't need no backing :)

    BUTTTTTTTT they really need some cupholders haha

    The viewing decks will be NEW and a little different. Every year they step up the badassness.
