RE: Im kinda Late....
This will be my first FFFF. There's another event I attend each year that has fallen on the same weekend. I'm blowing it off this year to attend FFFF. I haven't seen The Jesus Lizard in close to 15 years and this is the closest they're coming to the D/FW metromess. I'm really looking forward to checking out some bands I've wanted to see [such as Mission of Burma] as well as discovering some new faves.

It will be my first year, and I've always lived in Austin!
I couldn't convince myself to spend the money for the past line-ups, but there is no way I can pass on this years. -

my first FFF Fest! Looking forward more to this then ACL!
What I like about this festival is that you'll see a wide array of talent - some well known, some budding new artists and some you've never even heard of. You're going to have a blast! -

This will be my second year attending. You're going to have a great time, no worries. The park has a great layout and the sound system is really cool. There are merch tables for the bands and for other things, and of course, Best Wurst is there. Happiness achieved.

QUESTION: on one thread on here, someone mentioned something about "No re-entry". Is that the case? Can you not leave and come back??
Thanks. -

RE: Im kinda Late....
It's my 2nd year, it's far superior to ACL (better vibe, better bands, better everything), last year re-entry wasn't a problem, I'd assume it's the same this year. Also, check out all the after and pre-shows around town, even the unsponsored ones. Last year I saw Scared of Chaka play the night before they played the festival for free in a wrehouse/punk club on the east side. It, like the festival itself, was epic. Oh yeah, and make it a point to take a music break everynow and then, head over to the yellow stage and see a comic or two, maybe hit up the mechanical bull, or skate the ramp. Seriously, this is hands down the best festival you will ever attend.
