API's Flatstock
The Flatstock poster convention was in full effect last year and I'm hoping it will be again this year. In this thread we will discuss all things gig poster related. I scooped up this Tom Waits poster last year

Although the craftmanship and art of the rock poster is truly appreciated, personally it feels fraudulent to own a poster for a show that was not attended. Therefor, Flatstock only ignites longing to spend more money on concerts, not posters.

I hear ya but I don't feel it fraudulent to have a poster from a show that I didn't go to because, I mean, art is art. I just want to appreciate the art of posters in this thread, not the merits of owning them. There's got to be some peeps on here who have gig posters. Post em.
Apperently, Sound Screen Design is putting out a retrospective book for the first 20 years of Flatstock. Don't know when it's coming out but should be really cool. -

I'm with you on this one. I've only purchased posters for shows I actually attended. I hate when they create a gig poster that isn't available for sale. There are some shows I've been to where the posters weren't available for purchase. -
