    last year we straight pipped it, but this year we got fun1 tickets and plan on upgraded. totally worth it (unless they decided to overcharge...)

    I'll be in a wheelchair, does anyone know if the PIP bathrooms are in a different area? Are their ramps to the PIP viewing areas? Will my husband be able to get my food for me?

    Hey Wendy, if I remember correctly last year you had to climb stairs to get to the PIP deck/portapotty/food area, and all the decks for viewing involved stairs as well. Maybe you could contact one of the big wigs and see if any accommodations will be made this year. I'm not sure if a festival like FFF is required to follow ADA rules.

    Just wanted to thank everyone for responding on this joint, helped sway my decision to spring for the PIP...totally looking forward to this festival, some of my old favs and new favs playing that I just can't miss it.

    Quick question, do the bands happen to hang out in the PIP viewing area from time to time in past festivals?

    a few band members wandered into the PIP areas, but they mainly hung out in the artist tent and their hotels(find me at FFF and I'll tell you where those are) The Dead Milkmen guys walked around the festival itself in 08, and David Yow did this as well. You just have to be on the lookout.

    If you like to drink it is well worth it. I never got the goodies that they mentioned but I wasn't all that concerned about it as I'm a pack rat and it would just be more stuff piling up in my apartment. Day 1 they wouldn't let you take drinks out of the PIP area but that was fixed by day two. Not sure the policy this year.

    If you were able to drink $75 worth of beer, then yes. That's about 12 tall boys. If you were able to drink double that, well friend you just made out like a bandit. Also, the restrooms were very nice. The only bummer was the promised swag that was never delivered.

    When I turn 21 I will be getting one. It sounds worth it though. Don't you also get some kind of backstage pass along with it? Sounds great
